Policies

Deposit/Cancellations

The deposit is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled as set forth below or unless another policy is in place through a third party agreement.

At the time of booking the first night of your stay will be charged automatically, unless a specifically noted differently by the provider.

For bookings from April through October cancellations more than one week prior to your stay will be refunded. Cancellations within one week of stay forfeits the first night fee as a cancellation fee.

For bookings from November through March, cancellations more than 3 days prior to the date of stay will be refunded. Cancellations within 3 days of stay forfeits the first night fee as a cancellation fee.

At any time, if management is able to rebook the same date, the entire deposit will be refunded.

Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in time: 3:00pm and later. Starting time for check in is 3:00 p.m. Earlier check in may be available, upon prior request and approval. No check in will be allowed before 1:00 p.m. Guests may check-in anytime after 3:00. Instructions will be available on site for check in after hours or if no one is on the property at the time of your arrival. You do not need to get instructions prior to arrival. They will be provided automatically to guests.

Check-out time: 11:00am. Overstaying more than 15 minutes past check out time without prior approval will result in a charge of $25 per hour or any portion thereof.

Smoking
We are completely non-smoking. No smoking is allowed within 25 feet of the guest accommodations.

Additional Guests
Room rates are for double occupancy (for Rosalind, Falstaff, Katharina, Elizabeth, Titania), occupancy for up to 3 (for Oberon, Mistress Ford) or occupancy up to 4 (for Beatrice). For guests over the room occupancy number please add $10.00 for each additional person. Please note that occupancy limit numbers are the same for each room as specified herein, even if the occupants are children. We do not have roll away beds or cribs available.

Children
We love families. The Bard’s Inn is proud of its many antiques and decor many of which are not child-proof. Our property is over 100 years old and, as such is not set-up specifically for children and there may be certain areas that require particular caution. We request that you be mindful of the age and activity level of your children. Call if you have questions or concerns about bringing your young children.

Pets
Pets are not allowed. Service animals must be professionally trained and can never be left unattended.

Please inquire about our corporate rate offered to single business travelers.

Group Reservations & Cancellations
Three or more rooms will be charged in full at the time of booking. Single reservations for more than 3 rooms may be eligible for a discount.  Call for information.  Group reservations are non-refundable.

Special Rate for the Entire Inn
The Bard’s Inn will sleep 20+ people in beds. See if a full house discount is available for the date(s) you are interested in.

Breakfast
Breakfast includes eggs, sausage, coffee, juice, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, toast, fresh fruit and more. It is served buffet style from 8:30-9:30 a.m. year round. However, in the fall and spring, depending on occupancy and at the management’s discretion, we may provide breakfast to you in your room. In such event you will be upgraded to a room with a kitchen, if your reservation does not already include it. It will be a full breakfast.
